Blue Waffles Reality

It has obviously taken longer than usual but we’ve conceived the under-lying reality of the Blue Waffles that surfaced as a mystical disease in 2007 and gained a massive popularity since the day. With first things first and to clear all the doubts among readers, it should be wise enough to say that it’s not a disease. Where we previously provided you a total fictitious concept about the Blue Waffles, mentioning every bit of the rumors spread on-net, we now have a real and close-to-life concept as some medical experts and doctors from different institutions across the U.S. have finally come out and spoken about it on the record.

At first, I was a little too shocked when something like the “Blue Waffles Disease” surfaced and my heart just didn’t want to believe the story. But then more and more material started coming up with the same and possibly self-exaggerated stories that created some doubts among people. I’d now like to sum everything up in a very clear way so this does not create any doubt in any mind for the years to follow.

Blue Waffles

Blue Waffles

Blue Waffles – What they had to say?

The younger generation was obviously shocked at this as the images started surfacing on Google and also on other pornographic websites. Just to be firm about the beliefs of general public about it, we questioned some third persons and teenagers about the Blue Waffles,

  • What do you think of Blue Waffles?
  • Did you get tricked into believing?
  • What does it affect?

Now that the teenagers obviously had some shocking answers while the senior citizens had to settle with a bit of comics. A random set of replies were:

  • Its a serious vaginal infection.
  • Why’d you ask me that?
  • Shouldn’t have asked a women, where’s my boyfriend!

Pictures of the Blue Waffles

When some images of the Blue Waffles started appearing, my first guess about those were a linkage to the regular pornographic websites. The images didn’t appear to be photo-shopped but some expert photo-shop editors did say that those images had some artificial color changes, specially the color Blue. So one simple question an individual might ask is that, why would someone even spread such a rumor?

Blue Waffles Myth

Blue Waffles Myth

The answer to the question is actually very simple but requires a background knowledge. The way websites work and earn is actually through ad-revenues which multiply only with the amount of users. So to say, creating such an image would only promote the amount of searched content proportional to the number of users visiting it. Another common opinion about this is that the so called Blue Waffles Disease is only a way to spread fearful rumors among the younger generation so the sales of protective equipment might increase giving a much higher revenue to the company making them.

Reality of the Mystical Blue Waffles

The biggest reasons of Blue Waffles being a myth and a fantasy are self-evident. Whenever you search Google about any disease or health-care information, you might have results returned from trusted and medically established websites like WebMD or MayoClinic. But whenever we searched about the Blue Waffles, we were repeatedly linked to pornographic websites and in most of the cases, search results revealed entirely new websites with the content only being about this so called Blue Waffles Disease. Apart from that, some of them also came up with the disease causes, symptoms and even treatment.  This was a clear indication of Blue Waffles being only a myth.

What proved the Blue Waffles being entirely fictitious?

Everything we gathered up til now was doubtful and those doubts could only be cleared by medical professionals. Thanks to some who actually had the guts to come out with answers. So what did most of them say?

The medical dictionary has never heard of anything called as the “Blue Waffles Disease”. The name suggests it could be a slang term because ‘waffles’ is a slang for ‘vagina’. None of the diseases discovered up til now have had a blue colored vagina. Where this could be related to some other sort of diseases, it’s definitely not what they call the disease itself. The images are absolutely fake and have no resemblance to the real world.

The circulating images could have been due to bruising or rubbing the affected area too hard that might have made it look a bit blue in color. The deceiving word was of Blue Waffles being an STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease), which was the only thing people might have been tricked through to believe in because there are some other STDs closely related to the explained symptoms. Another view about it is that it could still be a very rare disease the medical experts might be unaware of or at-least kept it down to carry some research work forward. Although, similar symptoms to the ones mentioned have been observed in another disease called ‘vaginitis‘ which is actually just an inflammation of the vulva.

In the end, I would just request to everyone to spread the word out to as many people as you know using sources like Twitter or Facebook as it will help them all get over the fact of this mystical disease which might possibly be driving them mad for a long time now. If you need any other information or citation of anything we provided, please contact us using the form above. This was all we had and this might be our last update on Blue Waffles, I so hope it sums up well for my readers.

Foods rich in Vitamin A

When we talk about foods rich this element or simply Vitamin A Foods, we are concerned with the foods that possess excess amount of Vitamin A in order to have a balanced diet. We may usually find people either deficient or excess in amounts of it. Vitamin A Foods are actually a group of compounds that play an essential role in our body for vision, bone development, reproduction, cell division as well as differentiation by which a cell becomes a part of the brain or specialized body tissues. The foods rich in Vitamin A regulate the immune method which allow avoidance from infections or even help our body to combat the infections by making white blood cells that destroy harmful bacteria and viruses. We must remember that White Blood Cells are present inside our body and help fight infections and germs. The Vitamin A may possibly support lymphocytes fight infections much more effectively so the use of Foods rich in Vitamin A is always essential to our body and we might need to consider this as a complement to our diet program, surely no one would like to miss out on this.

Vitamin A Foods – Sources

The simplest way to get the everyday necessity of important nutritional Vitamin A is usually to consume food with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, fortified dairy food items, dried beans and specially grain food. All of these can be considered as Vitamin A Foods sources. Some other Vitamin A Foods are the yolk of an egg or even butter. In vegetables, we may find carrots extremely high in Vitamin A. Similarly, Potatoes and Pumpkins are equally strong. Vitamin A Foods can be considered really important for good health.

Vitamin A Foods

Foods rich in Vitamin A

In more and wider details, Vitamin A Foods are identified in meals that arrive from animal source such as eggs, milk, yolk and animal liver. They can also be coming from plant sources but we’ll stay restricted to the animal sources right now. Most fat free milk and dried milk solids marketed within the United States are fortified with Vitamin A Foods to exchange the sum lost if extra fat is taken out. Fortified meals that are taken as breakfast cereals also supply Vitamin A. Pro Vitamin A carotenoids are ample in colored fruits and vegetables. The Nationwide Wellness and Nutrition Examination Survey held in 2000 indicated that significant diet contributors of Vitamin A Foods are milk, margarine, eggs, beef liver and fortified breakfast cereals, whereas major contributors of Pro Vitamin A carotenoids are carrots, sweet potatoes and spinach.

Vitamin A – Beta Carotenoids

Vitamin A Foods that come from animal sources like eggs, meat, fortified milk, cheese, cream, kidney and halibut fish oil except skimmed milk which has been fortified with Vitamin A are rich in saturated fats and cholesterol so care must be taken if you’re already a victim of high fat or cholesterol and are also fighting against Vitamin A deficiency. Sources of Vitamin A – beta-carotene include,

  • Bright Orange fruits such as Pink grapefruits and apricots
  • Green vegetables such as carrots, pumpkins and winter squash
  • Broccoli, spinach, and leafy vegetables

The greater intensity in the color of a fruit or vegetable indicates a higher the beta-carotene material and higher the Vitamin A Foods density will be found in it.

Vitamin A Foods – Recommended Intakes

For all Vitamin A Foods, the recommended intake depends upon the age group of a person. We might mention the intakes in Upper Intake Levels – ULs or MCG which might be considered as the upper limit.

Age 0 to 9 -  600-900 UL

Age 10 to 13 – 1700 UL

Age 14 to 17 -  2800 UL

Age 18+ – 3000+ UL

So based on all these facts Vitamin A Foods can be identified and sorted well for our diet programs. Please stay updated with our blog for more on Vitamin A Foods.

Deficiency of Vitamin A

So the Vitamin A Deficiency is defined as the lack of Vitamin A present in the human body. Vitamin A Deficiency is often referred to as Hypo-vitaminosis A which also accounts for the lack of Vitamin A. The Vitamin A Deficiency is very common in under-developed countries while its just above the lower limit in developed countries. Night blindness might appear to be the very initial indicators of the Vitamin A Deficiency. Since Vitamin A has a main role in photo transduction, we might also observe comprehensive blindness taking place. Due to this, Vitamin A Deficiency causes a large number of malnourished young children to become blind specially in the establishing countries, one example of which is Kenya or Africa. Not just children but Vitamin A Deficiency is widely seen in pregnant women in under-developed countries according to a report by United Nations in a previous survey set to eliminate Vitamin A Deficiency for the upcoming years. Due to this deficiency, we see a disappearing strength in humans to fight infections.

Vitamin A Deficiency – Background

Vitamin A was the initial vitamin discovered by Davis McCollum in 1915 and therefore it was provided by this name. Vitamin A was also the first fat-soluble vitamin with excess amount in liver, milk and eggs. As the population of the world started increasing, Vitamin A Deficiency became common. You will find three forms of Vitamin A,

  • Retinols
  • Beta Carotene
  • Carotenoids

Retinol is often referred to as Preformed Vitamin A and it is the most energetic form of the vitamin. It is derived from animal sources like meat and liver.  Beta Carotene also referred to as Pro-vitamin A comes from the plant source through which mammals make two thirds of their Vitamin A. Carotenoids is the largest group of Vitamin A and sometimes exist as free alcohol or fatty esters.

Vitamin A Deficiency – Causes and Symptoms

There are two types of Vitamin A Deficiencies referred to as Primary Vitamin A Deficiency and Secondary Vitamin A Deficiency.

Primary Vitamin A Deficiency

This is caused by an extended diet and the lack of eating meals, particularly the meals in which rice do not incorporate carotene. This occurs with protein and energy malnutrition primarily as a result of diet but we might observe the vitamin and other nutritious elements being impaired or probably being less effective.

Secondary Vitamin A Deficiency

This usually takes place when there are issues in the conversion of carotene to Vitamin A or decreased absorption, storage and transport of the vitamin. It usually takes place in different types of illness mainly gastric and stomach related issues.

Vitamin A Deficiency

Vitamin A Deficiency

We might easily find symptoms related to Vitamin A Deficiency because they’re quite a lot and easily visible. We might observe our vision getting blurred which is basically due to the obstruction in the production of rhodopsin, the eye pigment accountable for sensing light. Rhodopsin is found in the retina of the eye and it is composed of retinal and the protein opsin. Due to the fact that our body can’t produce retinal in excess quantities, a diet plan lower in this vitamin will lead to a decreased level of rhodopsin in the eye, as there’s insufficient retinal to bind with opsin.

Night blindness induced by Vitamin A Deficiency has been linked together with the loss of goblet cells in the membrane covering the outer surface of the eye. Goblet cells are responsible for secretion of mucus while their absence ends in zero-ophthalmia, a condition where the eyes fall short of tears. At this situation one might feel buried under something.

Treatment of Vitamin A Deficiency

The treatment of Vitamin A Deficiency is simple and that is to take a balanced diet rich in it. An adequate amount is necessary to maintain the level of this Vitamin when we’ve reached it. As explained earlier in previous topics, we have to use a specific amount of this vitamin depending on the age groups. Food sources below are rich in it and we highly recommend them,

  • Carrots
  • Apricots
  • Liquid Milk
  • Margarine
  • Liver meat
  • Orange
  • Apple
  • Egg Yolks

So in order to fight Deficiency or the Deficiency Diseases that come with it, you should lay out a complete and balanced diet plan and follow it up strictly with your timetable. Stay updated with our blog for more on Vitamin A Deficiency.

Vitamin A – Symptoms and Effects

The Vitamin A is an essential health determining factor. We must remember that Vitamin A is not the only requirement that determines a healthy life but our body requires adequate amounts of all known Vitamins, those that are present inside our body and also those that are not produced by our body. In simple words we define Vitamin A as a fat soluble vitamin. It is present naturally inside our body and dissolves in fat during the process of ingestion. It must be remembered that Vitamin A is not the only fat soluble vitamin but Vitamin D, E and K are also included in the list of fat soluble vitamins. Other than these, we also have water soluble vitamins that are soluble in water but briefly, it should just be taken as a fat soluble vitamin here in the topic.

Vitamin A – Functions, Types and Sources

Vitamin A, often called up as Retinal is basically a vitamin that is needed by the retina inside the eye within a specific metabolite which maybe an energy absorbing molecule that is needed equally in isotopic and color vision. Vitamin A also functions in quite a few other roles being in an irreversibly oxidized form. Vitamin A gives sharp nutritious surface linings to the eyes as well as the respiratory, urinary, and intestinal areas. When individual linings break down, it becomes less difficult for bacteria to enter the body and also decreases the chance of it, causing infection. It also assists the skin as mucous membranes operate as a barrier to bacteria, infections and different types of viruses. We can obtain this currently from two sources widely known as,

  • The Animal Source
  • The Plant Source
Vitamin A

Vitamin A

Vitamin A that is present in foods arriving from animals is named as Preformed Vitamin A. This kind of vitamin is absorbed inside the Retinol usually as a single piece in the most usable/active types of Vitamin A. Sources of this vitamin include liver, meat, complete milk, and a few fortified meals. Retinol might be made into Retinal and Retinoic acid during the digestion or eating process so we might consider them as inter convertible.

Vitamin A that is found in fruits and vegetables is known as Pro Vitamin A Carotenoid. They can be converted into retinol in the same way. While in the United states of America – USA, roughly 25% of Vitamin consumed by males and 35% of Vitamin consumed by females is in the form of Pro-Vitamin A Carotenoids. Typical Pro-Vitamin A Carotenoids present in food items that come from plants are Beta carotene, Alpha carotene and Cryptoxanthin. Amongst these, the first one is most efficiently changed to Vitamin A while the latter ones can also be converted to Vitamin A but only half as effectively as the first one.

Effects of Vitamin A on our Body

The Vitamin functions effectively in our body parts. It helps not just in the growth of our body but also in the proper functioning and movement of our body parts. This vitamin performs it’s part in wide numbers giving help to,

  • Far Vision
  • Gene Transcription
  • Increasing Bone Metabolic rate
  • Well being of skin and movement
  • Antioxidant action

It must be noted that adequate amount of Vitamin A is very essential. We must not be deficient and also shouldn’t overtake it as it obviously have some side-effects. They say, “Excess of everything is bad” which is very rightly the case here. If someone is deficient, he is liable to face visionary issues as well as weakness in bones. He may end up being infectious to a lot of diseases slowly being a victim of one. Night-blindness, inflammation of eyes and diarrhea may also occur. For a usual case, infants might end up at an overdose of Vitamin A and this explains improper growth in children or some of their body parts.

On the other hand, if someone takes Vitamin A Foods in excess, he might face issues like nausea, irritation, blurriness in vision, hair loss, bone pain and color changes in skin. The body also may not digest or store fats properly and you may end up looking for a doctor. So one has to take control over the adequacy of Vitamins. Similarly, we must be careful with the use of all vitamins because its not just the deficiency of it that could lead to the above mentioned diseases. We will be providing more articles regarding the deficiency causes and diseases caused by the Vitamin A.

Reason behind B12 Deficiency Symptoms

Additionally it is the primary reason of losing several gastric tissues within the abdomen and induces anemia. It is often brought on simply by an operation that has been connected with the abdomen as well as genetic elements. This impacts the actual intrinsic elements inside our bodies pretty badly.

One of the other reason regarding B12 deficiency symptoms is that they also consist of the actual mal-absorption and mal-digestion. Mal-absorption syndrome actually does quite some medical harms plus some architectural damage inside the stomach’s interior.

Because the abdomen may be the main spot in which the symptoms commence, the actual assimilation techniques may also be affected. This kind of thing can’t assimilate the basics along with what exactly is produced during digestion. You’ll discover specific medications that intervene the mal-absorption process of an individual. A medical expert would properly explain that well in a conversation so you have the full right of a discussion.

An additional potential factor behind B12 deficiency and its symptoms might be because of one particular microbe growth. You’ll discover a number of germs that will be particularly identical to a tiny earthworm. Blue Disease – All types

The Blue Disease, as very clear by the name represents all those types of diseases due to which one or more of the different body parts turn blue in color. In lighter or severe forms, the color might change from one to another but blue would be represent the middle stage or most appropriate stage of the disease due to which the name holds. The most common types of diseases that turn one ore more body parts blue in color are known as:

  • Blue Eye Disease
  • Blue Waffles Disease
  • Blue Tongue Disease
  • Cyanosis ( Blue Disease )
  • Exotic Blue disease

A couple of the above diseases have already been discussed in detail but we will be explaining a summarized view into each of the Blue Disease here in this article as the details and insights for each of them may come later.

Blue Disease

Blue Disease

Blue Eye Disease

The Blue Eye Disease is the most specific type of Blue Disease that turns at least one eye blue in color. It is caused by the Paramyxo-virus and may also be found in common pet animals like a rat, cat or dog. There is practically no known treatment but it all depends on the various symptoms one might have. Some common symptoms of the disease may be found as,

  • Lack of appetite
  • Fever
  • Loose Motion

Blue Tongue Disease

The Blue Tongue Disease is a disease that turns the tongue blue in color. No known case has ever been found in humans but a large number of cases have been discovered in cattle like sheep, goats and buffaloes. The disease is caused by the Blue Tongue Virus and once again there is no known treatment but preventive care like vaccines are provided to cattle for safety. The symptoms may not be limited to the following,

  • High Mortality Rate
  • Blue Tongue
  • Facial Swelling

Cyanosis – Blue Disease

Cyanosis, also frequently termed as the Blue Disease is famous for decolorizing the body color and giving light blue or purple tinges throughout the whole body. The major cause of this disease is low oxygen level provided to the body. It greatly affects blood circulation across the body because it affects the heart. In simple words, it is caused as soon as the blue blood mixes with the red blood. Cyanosis is mainly divided into two categories:

  • Central
  • Peripheral

Central Blue Disease affects the central regions like the lips and the up-straight regions whereas the latter, Peripheral Blue Disease affects body parts like fingers, nails or even the hands. Some known symptoms are found to be,

  • Breathing Problems
  • The Color Blue
  • Low Feeding Rate

Exotic Blue Disease

This is a type of disease affecting cotton so it does not affect the living things. The cotton produced throughout the year is reduced by a great deal. It is caused by the cotton leaf roll dwarf virus. It is mostly found in Australia where it is found to be directly affecting the stem leaves of the cotton plant usually giving it a greenish to blue color.

This was it for all the common types of Blue Disease. Each of the disease will be written in detail so the links might be found at some stage. Keep visiting us for more information regarding Blue Disease.

West Nile Disease Virus

The West Nile Disease is actually caused by a virus spread by the mosquitoes. The disease has become severe with passing time and it has also resulted in the deaths of many living people. The West Nile disease is most common in the United States of America where the first case was reported in 99′ New York since its discovery in 1937. Many people have been bitten by mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus but most of them do not even notice any symptoms while with some of them, the disease may get severe and reach a dangerous stage which may as well be life-threatening.

Causes of the West Nile Disease

The cause of getting the virus, as previously discussed is the biting of an infected mosquito. But the question is, what makes the mosquito so dangerous? The answer is that the infected mosquitoes called the “flavivirus” belonging to a specific family carry the virus. If you’re bitten by an infected mosquito, then it must be noted that in some conditions the disease may end up being life-threatening if you’re also found with one or more of the following:

  • HIV Aids
  • Cancer
  • Pregnancy
  • Blue Waffles
  • Young or Old age

Usually the immune system in humans that helps them fight most of the diseases is strong enough to counter the West Nile Disease but in the above mentioned cases, the immune systems are weaker than expected so they may not fight against the disease as they should.

West Nile Disease

West Nile Disease

Symptoms of the West Nile Disease

The disease is difficult to diagnose generally because of the large number of symptoms that be seen in the affected. They maybe one of the following but not limited to:

  • Pain in the abdomen
  • General fever
  • Nausea
  • Decreased appetite
  • Body pains
  • Rash
  • Sore throat
  • Constant Vomiting

If in a severe form, the West Nile Disease may also show other symptoms that are, but not limited to lack of focus, unconsciousness or pain in one-sided body parts like an arm or a leg.

West Nile Disease – Prevention and Treatment

It’s always best to prevent people from getting the disease but if you still happen to get some, you can hope for a treatment. The following points may help in preventive care against the West Nile Disease:

  • Mosquito Repellents
  • Keep exposure of body parts to a minimum
  • Put away any standing water around your place

This is because mosquitoes are always attracted to places near water so you might see mosquitoes wandering over water ponds specially in the evening. Now for the treatment, it’s always best to consult an expert doctor because no regular treatment is known for the disease. However, in milder cases, the symptoms will pass away with a regular use of medicines but the use of anti-biotics will always be deprecating for your health with the West Nile Disease even if you are suffering from a fever. In severe cases, you must be admitted to the hospital where proper care will be taken for any complications you might face. This was all for now on the disease, keep visiting us for all the information on such rare but diseases common in our everyday lives such as the West Nile Disease.

Mad Cow Disease

The Mad Cow Disease might sound like being an animal disease but it is spreading fast in the humans according to latest reports. Where it’s actually called Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy or BSE, it was first discovered in 1993, the time when it was very rare. It is a very fatal disease as it causes resilient degeneration of the brain cells. The Mad Cow Disease actually affects the brain or the spinal cord area of all the cow breeds so it might very easily be transferred to humans if they eat the affected parts of the contaminated  food. The disease was first found in UK where large number of cattle have been killed to date but recent surveys have shown the disease hitting some parts of the U.S. where protective measures are already coming in.

Mad Cow Disease – What causes it?

The word is “Prion”. So now, what is a Prion? A prion is a small infectious particle that can be called as contaminated protein that causes Mad Cow Disease. All the prion related diseases we know of, are notorious for affecting the brain and spinal regions so prions should not be confused with bacteria. As of date, it is still unknown as to how the prion protein particles cause the Mad Cow Disease which indicates that it can happen only if the cattle is fed with protein affected particles. There is also a misconception of hard-cooking or boiling the meat to a high temperature considering that it will kill the prion, however this does not happen and one may still find himself affected with the disease that would directly deteriorate his brain tissues and cells.

Mad Cow Disease

Mad Cow Disease

Symptoms and Effects of Mad Cow Disease

The symptoms of Mad Cow Disease range to high numbers in humans and cattle. In humans, the symptoms maybe one or more of the following:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Behavior Changes
  • Muscle Contractions
  • Memory Loss
  • Dementia
Symptoms of Mad Cow Disease

Symptoms of Mad Cow Disease

In cattle as the above symptoms are almost impossible to diagnose so we have some cattle specific symptoms as well which may be one or more of the following:

  • Difficulty to stand or walk
  • Weight loss
  • Abrupt decrease in milk production

Coming to diagnosis or treatment of the disease, then sadly there is no way for the doctors to currently diagnose the disease, however some scans might be recommended. Since it affects the brain, there is also no effective treatment for it. Research is still being made into this but we hardly have any cure for diseases affecting brain. Providing the affected person with love and affection might help him or her fight against it. This was all, so keep visiting for more updates on Mad Cow Disease.

 Kissing bug disease – Details

So as we look into the details and history of this disease, we see that Chagas disease was first discovered by a Brazilian doctor “Chagas” on whom which it is named. It was also found that the infected cells multiply fast in our body. When they burst, they release parasites into our blood and veins. The disease is more common in South America specially in the poverty spread areas. So if you find some symptoms of the disease in your body, you should be alarmed if one of the factors below matches your condition.

  • Living around bugs and insects
  • Living in close proximity to the jungle
  • Living in Central or South America
  • Living around a poverty spread area

Where we know it is important to spread information regarding the Symptoms of Kissing bug disease or the causes, we first believe it is important to know what the disease actually is and how dangerous can it be. The disease can often get into chronic phases so we now will discuss some phases of the Chagas Disease.

Phases of the Kissing Bug Disease

There are two phases related to this disease mainly called as,

  • Acute phase
  • Chronic phase

The acute phase of the disease is rarely noticed just because of the acute factors and symptoms involved in it. It is not really dangerous to health but can last a few weeks after infection. People with weaker immune systems such as children or probably the age of 60+ can be at risk.

The chronic phase of the disease can be highly dangerous and you might enter the stage if the parasite wasn’t destroyed in the acute stage. It can be life-threatening and this stage is found to be in one-third of total patients infected. So one must watch-out and avail proper treatment vigilantly if he/she ever enter the chronic stage to kissing bug disease.

We’ll also discuss a few words regarding the treatment of the Chagas disease although we’ll discuss it in details later in more articles.  Two major drugs used in the treatment of the disease are benznidazole and nifurtimox. The dosage of the two drugs should be carefully watched or as the doctor prescribes because these include side-effects as well which may appear as head-aches or problems in sleeping. Currently, that’s all we have for the on Chagas so stay tuned for more updates on kissing bug disease.
